FIFA president, Joseph Sepp Blatter, is currently being questioned by representatives from the Swiss Attorney General's Office on suspicion of criminal mismanagement and/or suspicion of misappropriation of funds.
Sepp Blatter is suspected to have signed an unfavourable contract for FIFA on the 12th of September 2005 with the Carribean Football Union which had Jack Warner as it's president at that time. In addition, he is suspected in the implementation of the agreement with the CFU, to have violated his fiduciary duties as president and acted against the interests of FIFA and/or FIFA Marketing and TV AG.
Blatter is also suspected of making a disloyal payment of 2 million Swiss Francs to UEFA president, Michel Platini, at the expense of FIFA which was for work performed between January 1999 and June 2002. The payment was made in February 2011.
It is understood that the United States don't have a hand Sepp Blatter's present travails.
